I was so excited to photograph Alana and Tane’s wedding. They’d been involved in multiple weddings that I’d previously photographed and I spied their great relationship and gorgeous good looks. They married at Tane’s family marae in Hongoeka Bay, Plimmerton. On a bright sunny day, they said their vows in front of the wharenui. There were a few tears and many laughs, as well as the most epic first kiss I’ve ever photographed (thanks Welly wind!). Then they celebrated festival style with food trucks, outdoor games, a margarita slushy machine, and the best burgers around.
