Gaby & Phil - Wellington City Wedding Photography - The Canape Company

Gaby and Phil had an intimate city wedding in our cool little capital that truly celebrated some of the best we have to offer. They tied the knot in style at The Canape Company’s gorgeous event room on Thorndon Quay. The food tasted even better than it looked and the space was decorated by the queen bees at Elegant and Wild, who planned and executed the day flawlessly. Post ceremony, we wandered around the waterfront then met their guests at Oriental Bay (with crock bikes as transport of course!) for a group photo. Then off to Pizzeria Napoli for an Italian lunch feast. So much vibrance and celebration was packed into this small daytime wedding and the whole crew were a joy to be around. Enjoy the colour! Ying & Sam - Butler Lane - Melbourne Wedding Photography

I was exceedingly flattered and excited that my friends Ying and Sam wanted me to photograph their wedding. Their urban Melbourne celebration was even cooler than I thought it would be. We started their portraits by wandering around their colourful neighbourhood and ended up at their favourite local bar/pizza restaurant, Lazer Pig (shout out to them for the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had). Their ceremony and reception was held at the suave Butler Lane. Shooting hoops, whisky bars, cakes galore (made by the bride herself), brilliant speeches, food, dancing. They totally aced everything. Shout out to the incredible Kyra Boyer Photography who helped me with this one and photographed the indoor reception so I could put on my party shoes and dance the night away at my beautiful friend’s wedding!
